Overview:
Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Temp – Retail Operations to join the Retail team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct weekly follow-ups with stores regarding aged Delivery Notices to ensure timely receipt of shipments.
- Track incoming cartons to guarantee they reach their designated locations and address any delays or discrepancies promptly.
- Initiate communication with the warehouse when cartons are missing in action or show no movement.
- Address shipment discrepancies such as overages or shortages by coordinating with the warehouse team.
- Follow-up with stores on aged Transfer Requests for inter-store transfers, ensuring efficient inventory management.
- Compile and submit bulk orders on a monthly basis to streamline procurement processes.
- Manage wardrobe requests by compiling and submitting them on a weekly basis, ensuring availability of necessary items.
- Compile and submit adjustments regularly to maintain accurate records and facilitate operational efficiency.
- Handle access requests by adding or removing individuals from various systems including alarm codes, Teams, Humanity, and e-commerce platforms.
- Assist with invoicing tasks to ensure timely and accurate billing processes.
- Manage supply requests to maintain adequate inventory levels for operational needs.
- Upload reports from MicroStrategy for data analysis and decision-making purposes.
- Coordinate and submit packaging orders to support product packaging and shipping requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in operations coordination or similar roles preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER:
The compensation for this position ranges from $30-$34 (hourly). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. When applicable, When applicable, we offer our employees a benefits package including medical insurance, and 401k matching. MJ employees also receive discounts on MJ products throughout the year.
