OVERVIEW:
Marc Jacobs International, driven by the visionary leadership of Marc Jacobs, is seeking a Visual Merchandising Coordinator based in our New York City (SoHo) headquarters.  The Visual Merchandising Coordinator, North America is responsible for supporting the execution of world-class visual merchandising strategies across Full Price, Outlet, and Wholesale channels. This role partners closely with the North America Visual Merchandising team, stores, cross-functional partners, and vendors to ensure consistent brand presentation, flawless execution, and timely communication of all visual initiatives.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. They possess strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for luxury fashion and brand storytelling.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Visual Merchandising Execution
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of seasonal visual merchandising directives across North America.
  • Assist with floor sets, window installations, product launches, showrooms and special retail initiatives.
  • Ensure visual standards and brand guidelines are consistently executed across all locations.
  • Partner with field teams to troubleshoot visual challenges and provide solutions for local adaptations.

Communication & Documentation
  • Assist in the creation of visual merchandising guidelines, presentations, and communication decks.
  • Support the development of seasonal directives, best practices, and training materials.
  • Coordinate distribution of visual communications to stores and regional teams.
  • Maintain calendars and project timelines.

Store Support & Reporting
  • Review store photos and provide feedback to ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Track completion of visual initiatives and follow up with stores as needed.
  • Maintain reporting tools, store feedback logs, and project trackers.
  • Assist with store openings, remodels, relocations, and pop-up activations.

Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate with Retail Operations, Merchandising, Marketing, Store Design, and Commercial teams.
  • Support execution of marketing campaigns, seasonal launches, and promotional events.
  • Coordinate vendor communication and logistics related to visual merchandising projects.
  • Foster strong relationships with store teams

Administrative & Organizational Support
  • Organize sample management and shipment coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records, project documentation, and visual archives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1–3 years of visual merchandising, retail, or fashion experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Must be able to lift 40+ lbs

The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
